The Field Supervisor is an essential component of the day-to-day operations of the field staff. Key responsibilities include overseeing the assignment and dispatch of crews and equipment, implementing personnel decisions, establishing and developing relationships with customers, monitoring and purchasing inventory, and ensuring safe work practices.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent G.E.D
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Flagger
  • Knowledge of maintenance of traffic (Required)
  • Able to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage employees of different backgrounds.
  • Experience with technology, with knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for training and coaching employees on company policies and procedures.
  • Audits Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) job sites to ensure safety and uphold STS standards.
  • Facilitate truck check-in and maintain daily gas card, keys, and tablet inventory.
  • Reviews and adjusts schedules based on the needs or complexity of a project site.
  • Responds to employee inquiries and provides solutions for field or equipment issues that may arise.
  • Conducts accident and incident reports as they occur in the field.
  • Responsible for transferring employees to and from job sites for relief and support.
  • Assist with field operations as needed (flagging, equipment pickup, etc.)
  • All other duties as assigned by the Area Manager.
