About The Position

Field Supervisor-Operations Midland, TX About Clean Chemistry Founded in 2012, and headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, Clean Chemistry discovered safe, effective production and use of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) for water treatment and industrial applications. Using proprietary, patented approaches, this new family of chemistries represents a significant disruption to the current inefficiencies in the production, distribution and performance of oxidation and disinfection chemistry. About the Role The Field Operations Supervisor is responsible for supporting safe operation of Clean Chemistry advanced water treatment equipment. Key activities include training and supervising field operators to ensure that Clean Chemistry maintains an expected level of professional operations and service. In addition, the supervisor will support client relations, organize logistics, and ensure effective communication between Clean Chemistry personnel and communication with on-site customer personnel.

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent degree required, BS/BA or technical degree preferred
  • Valid drivers license, clean MVR
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in oil-field equipment operation, preferably water treatment equipment
  • Local residence, with the ability to arrive at the shop within one hour of a call
  • Experience supervising a team of field operators
  • Understanding of field operations and knowledge of water transfer, water treatment, and hydraulic fracturing operations

Responsibilities

  • Enforce adherence to Clean Chemistry safety procedures and any policies and safety protocols required by customer facilities. Epitomize a culture of safety
  • Provide classroom and field on-site training and support for all operators
  • Lead personnel in equipment and logistics planning
  • Evaluates operator competency and provide training accordingly for safe and effective customer service
  • Ensure mobilize and demobilize field equipment per SOP/procedural checklists
  • Demonstrate high level of proficiency in Clean Chemistry technology, operate equipment on- site as needed
  • Coordinate with Field Operations Manager to ensure efficient operations
  • Direct field operators daily field duties.
  • Be accountable for the performance of field operators
  • Prepare and review detailed reports & documents
  • Represent Clean Chemistry as the premiere water treatment solution in the oil & gas industry
  • Be on call after hours or at minimum answer phone calls and emails
  • Document and track all operators’ progress and growth as well as needs for improvement
  • Manage Operator schedules and approval of timesheets etc.
  • Work with management to revise policies as needed
  • Facilitate maintenance of spare parts, tools, and equipment inventory to ensure continuous operations with Supply Specialist, QA/QC
  • Supply spare parts, tools, and equipment to field units
  • Maintain and develop vendor relationships
  • Oversee and perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and installation of upgrades to existing field equipment, skids, and trailers
  • Coordinate the fabrication, assembly and refurbishment of equipment skids, sub-assemblies and trailers
  • Continually develop the inventory, production, and maintenance programs to meet demand
  • Spot check Operators in field rig ups, rig downs, and deliveries
  • Assist in remote, multi-day, rig ups, rig downs, and trials
  • Load and unload chemical deliveries
  • Manage, track, and ensure fleet maintenance program
  • Other miscellaneous duties as needed
