About The Position

EIS Holding, LLC, is one of the largest providers of turnkey environmental services in the country, providing soil and groundwater remediation, asbestos and lead abatement, demolition, mold remediation, and air duct cleaning. This position leads field operations for underground and aboveground storage tank (UST/AST) projects, fuel facility cleaning, vacuum truck services, and environmental remediation. The Field Superintendent will oversee crews, subcontractors, equipment, safety compliance, and project execution, requiring strong leadership, hands-on field experience, and a deep understanding of fuel systems, environmental services, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • OSHA 10
  • UST Remover/Closure Certifications
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required state and local licenses
  • Must be on feet for up to 10 hours per day
  • Regular standing, sitting, kneeling, twisting, bending
  • Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to work in extreme hot/cold, wet/dry environment
  • Must be able to perform repetitive motions such as lifting, carrying, shoveling

Responsibilities

  • Supervise installation, removal, repair, and maintenance of underground and aboveground storage tanks (UST/AST), fuel systems, piping, and dispensing infrastructure.
  • Lead daily field operations for environmental remediation, industrial services, and vac truck projects while managing crews, subcontractors, equipment, and logistics.
  • Oversee vacuum truck operations including liquid waste removal, sludge extraction, hydro-excavation, tank cleanouts, line jetting, and confined space work.
  • Direct contaminated soil and groundwater remediation activities including excavation, product recovery, vapor mitigation, air sparging, and related corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and all federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate inspections, permitting, waste profiling, manifesting, transportation, and disposal activities in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings, identify and mitigate jobsite hazards, and promote a strong safety culture across all crews and subcontractors.
  • Track project schedules, production goals, budgets, equipment utilization, and change orders to ensure successful project execution.
  • Maintain accurate field reports, project documentation, manifests, compliance records, and progress updates.
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients, inspectors, consultants, subcontractors, and project managers while communicating project status and resolving field issues.
