We are expanding in the Florida Panhandle and seeking an experienced Field Superintendent. Summary: The Field Superintendent is responsible for leading field operations, fostering client relationships, and ensuring high-quality project execution in alignment with APS's standards and core values. This role requires a proactive leader who can train and mentor team members, coordinate resources efficiently, and maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams. You will conduct site visits to assess new projects, identify requirements, and ensure all stakeholders are aligned. You will oversee crew scheduling, monitor production, and take corrective action when necessary to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in CIPP Lining, Pipe Rehabilitation, Underground Utilities, or Heavy Civil construction
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record required - Must be able to pass MVR
  • Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent client-facing communication
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the Panhandle region and work flexible hours based on operational needs
  • Must be able to pass background check and drug & alcohol screen

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and mentor field crews by example
  • Conduct site visits for new jobs, assess requirements, and communicate scope to clients and internal teams
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional communication and courtesy calls
  • Balance client deadlines with APS workload and capacity
  • Oversee crew scheduling and production; coach and hold crews accountable to meet production goals
  • Coordinate operators and resources to effectively execute each job
  • Coordinate punch lists with clients and APS Supervisors
  • Ensure all work is performed at a high production standard without sacrificing quality
  • Use problem-solving skills to develop effective field solutions
  • Maintain a professional attitude and effective communication with clients, supervisors, and team members
  • Contribute to process improvements and company growth
  • Conduct all customer interactions with respect, courtesy, and professionalism
  • Escalate issues or potential missed deadlines proactively
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Adhere to all policies in the Company Handbook and Safety Manual, including safety procedures and maintenance of company tools/equipment
