About The Position

We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Field Services Representative in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location. This position is represented by We Energies L2150 Union.

Requirements

• Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and meet the company’s requirements for driving
• Electrical Aptitude Test (EAPT): A test to measure aptitude in mathematics, electrical concepts, process flow, signal flow, and electrical schematics & sequences.
• Construction and Skilled Trades (CAST) - Other level: Comprehension of pictured mechanical principles such as gears, levers, pulley systems, water flow, etc.; arithmetic skills in calculating distances shown in prints and drawings; and the ability to read and understand written material.
• Field Services Structured Interview (FIELDREP): Competencies include: Safety Awareness; Managing Work; Building Customer Loyalty; Applied Learning; Quality Orientation; Stress Tolerance.

Nice To Haves

• Review of basic electrical concepts such as current flow, basic schematic drawings and diagrams, and electrical connections.
• Review of basic arithmetic skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, decimals, fractions, etc., and review basic mechanical principals.

Responsibilities

• Routine gas and electric meter exchanges
• Disconnect and reconnect of electric meters
• Meter reading functions (i.e., routes, special reads, and safety audits).
• Maintenance on automated meter reading system
• Investigate high/low or no consumption meter orders and possible interchange of meters at a premise (gas/electric)
