About The Position

The Field Service Representative I (FSR I) will support the installation, operation, and maintenance of High-Power Microwave Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (HPM-CUAS). This role provides hands-on experience working with advanced directed energy technology while assisting senior FSRs in system setup, testing, and sustainment activities. The FSR I position serves as the foundation for growth within the Field Operations and Sustainment organization through mentorship, structured learning, and field exposure. As required by our governmental client, this position requires an active SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain an active SECRET clearance to qualify. A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify.

Requirements

  • Typically requires no previous professional experience.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, or networked systems.
  • Ability to work in diverse environmental conditions and travel as needed.
  • Must be eligible for a U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • Prior experience in maintenance, repair, or military operations.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to learning.
  • FAA Part 107 certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Routine manual lifting of objects 50-80 pounds such as boxes and other equipment.
  • Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders; high lift equipment up to 40 feet, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
  • Manual dexterity required for frequent reaching, climbing, and lifting of moderate objects, operation of power and manual tools/equipment, and operating office equipment.
  • Typical overseas assignments are frequently performed in both internal and external environments with a variety of weather conditions.
  • Ability to work under extreme hot or cold weather conditions with exposure to dust or dirt is routine and may require the use of protective personal equipment (PPE).
  • This position will require overseas travel.
  • Candidates should be willing to be on travel / TDY away from their home location 90 – 120-day durations, in hazardous duty locations.
  • FAA Part 107 certification

Responsibilities

  • Support system setup, teardown, and operational checks under supervision.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, inventory, and documentation of system components.
  • Assist with data collection, fault identification, and repair tasks.
  • Participate in customer training events and field demonstrations as directed.
  • Follow safety and quality procedures in all field activities.
  • Engage in technical training and cross-functional learning to develop advanced FSR skills.
