The Field Service Engineer II will independently perform onsite troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and emergency maintenance of Omnicell's electro-mechanical and automation solutions. This role involves regular communication with director-level nursing and pharmacy staff to tackle problems of advanced scope. The Field Service Engineer II will also provide coaching and mentoring as needed. Shared responsibilities include thoroughly documenting all service events according to Omnicell's policies and procedures, meeting company guidelines for response time and service levels, escalating product bugs, malfunctions, and design issues through support channels, participating in various staff meetings, maintaining service quality and customer satisfaction, and managing parts inventory and the return materials process. The role requires the ability to lift 50 lbs. to approximately 5 ft. high, availability 24 hours a day, Monday through Friday, and for weekend on-call rotations. Frequent local travel in the primary area is expected, with backup support in adjacent areas as needed. The individual must provide a work area at home and space for trunk stock inventory. A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, meeting Omnicell's insurance coverage requirements, and having their own vehicle in acceptable working condition are necessary.
