About The Position

Daniels Health is looking for a Field Service Technician to join their team and support assigned hospitals with critical medical waste services. This role involves hands-on work in a fast-paced environment, focusing on supporting healthcare facilities with essential medical waste management. The position requires physical activity, including lifting, moving, and servicing medical waste containers, ensuring safe and timely exchanges and proper segregation of waste. Technicians will work directly with hospital staff, inspect and service containers in clinical areas, maintain inventory, and use a company-provided smartphone for task management and communication. The role emphasizes professionalism, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to making a positive impact in healthcare.

Requirements

Physically fit, comfortable with heavy lifting, and enjoys active, on-the-go work.
Team player who can also work independently without direct supervision.
Strong attention to detail—especially when it comes to paperwork and procedures.
Reliable personal transportation.
A can-do attitude.
Previous experience in a labor-intensive or logistics role.

Responsibilities

Working directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
Inspecting and servicing Daniels Health containers in clinical areas—this includes entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients.
Lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day.
Maintaining inventory of containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized.
Using a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team.
Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
Representing Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.
