About The Position
Daniels Health is looking for a Field Service Technician to join their team and support assigned hospitals with critical medical waste services. This role involves hands-on work, moving, lifting, and making a daily impact. The technician will work directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation. Responsibilities include inspecting and servicing containers in clinical areas, which may involve entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients. The job requires lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day, maintaining inventory, and ensuring areas are stocked and organized. A company-provided smartphone will be used for task management, issue reporting, and team communication. The technician will also be responsible for keeping staging areas clean and orderly and representing Daniels Health with professionalism and a strong work ethic.
Requirements
- Physically fit, comfortable with heavy lifting, and enjoys active, on-the-go work.
- Team player who can also work independently without direct supervision.
- Strong attention to detail—especially when it comes to paperwork and procedures.
- Reliable personal transportation.
- Can-do attitude and previous experience in a labor-intensive or logistics role.
