Security Guard 6pm to 4am
About The Position
The Security Guard will patrol and monitor casino property, including buildings and the parking lot, to help prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. The primary goal is to assist in providing a safe environment for casino patrons and employees. This role requires constant mental alertness, the ability to stand stationary for long periods, and interaction with guests in a pleasant, professional, and friendly manner. The guard is also responsible for accurate and legible paperwork and reports, providing escorts for casino property, crowd control, and assisting local law enforcement during emergencies and investigations. Maintaining exceptional guest service standards and a clean-cut appearance are essential.
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
- Able to pass extensive background check in accordance with Kaw Nation Gaming Commission regulations to obtain gaming license.
- Able to work any shift any day including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
- Able to sit / stand for extended periods of time.
- Frequent lifting may occasionally be required to lift in excess of 50 pounds, with ability to push heavy cart.
- Must have current state issued drivers license.
- Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
- Constant mental alertness is needed.
- Must be able to stand stationary for long periods of time.
Nice To Haves
- C.L.E.E.T. (Council on Law Enforcement Education & Training) certification preferred.

Responsibilities
- Patrol and monitor casino property including buildings and parking lot to help prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
- Assist in providing a safe environment for casino patrons and employees.
- Be responsible for all paperwork and reports being accurate and legible.
- Provide escort for Casino Property when being transported from one location to another.
- Provide crowd control and assist local law enforcement agencies in the event of emergency and investigation situations.
- Notify ranking officer of any irregularities in guest play.
- Ensure that exceptional internal and external guest service standards are always number one.
- Interact with guests in a pleasant, professional, and friendly manner.
- Maintain a clean-cut appearance and meet training & physical requirements.
- Wear gaming badge at all times while on duty or doing business in the casino.
- Be courteous and professional at all times to co-workers, guests, vendors or anyone you may have contact with while on duty.
- Perform any duties that may be assigned by immediate or controlling supervisor.
