The Field Service Technician is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and executing required service orders, including repairs, planned maintenance, and installations within their assigned service territory. This role involves understanding company service contracts and ensuring services are performed accordingly. The technician will provide ongoing support to key customers through technical phone support, product installation, and field service. They will also provide feedback on product issues and trends observed in the field, assist in developing solutions, and report deviations from quality standards. Additionally, the technician will report any delays in scheduled service, ensure all paperwork and administrative tasks are accurate and up-to-date, and maintain tools, supplies, and parts. The role also includes promoting service agreements by advising customers on available services and attending required product-specific training.
