Reporting to the Regional Service Manager, the Field Service Technician is responsible for providing front‑line technical service and support to customers while delivering a consistently high level of customer satisfaction. This is a home‑based role supporting customers throughout the Greater Houston, TX area with regional travel.

Requirements

  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory, including occasional overnight travel
  • Up to two years of technical, mechanical, electrical, or field service experience
  • Basic computer and technical proficiency (email, mobile applications, Microsoft Word)
  • Ability to comply with customer safety requirements, PPE standards, and site access policies
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to safely operate a company vehicle

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Videojet coding and marking equipment at customer facilities
  • Travel throughout the greater Houston territory to support manufacturing customers, with most work completed during the day and limited overnight travel
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software‑related issues and deliver effective, timely solutions
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with customers by acting as a technical advisor and problem solver
  • Support business growth by identifying opportunities to promote service agreements and newer technology solutions
