The Field Service Technician is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and executing required service orders, including repairs, planned maintenance, and installations within their assigned service territory. This role involves understanding company service contracts and ensuring services are performed according to plan. The technician will provide ongoing support to key customers through technical phone support, product installation, and field service. They will also provide product feedback on observed issues and trends, assist in developing solutions, and report deviations from quality standards. Additionally, the technician will report any delays in scheduled service, ensure all paperwork and administrative tasks are up-to-date, maintain tools and supplies, and report any complaints according to quality system requirements. Attending product-specific training and promoting service agreements are also key aspects of this role.
