About The Position

A Field Service Technician for the French speaking Territories will provide field service to our dealer network in French speaking territories. Via your troubleshooting guidance, onsite training and hands-on repair support you effectively resolve technical-, electrical-, and mechanical issues. The suitable candidates has, besides good technical knowledge, a flexible and customer-oriented attitude and possesses strong integrity and self-managing capabilities. The position requires significant travel throughout the French speaking Territories and occasionally to the Netherlands or eastern Europe. The Field Service Technician French speaking Territories is a full-time position within an open culture which promotes and inspires a highly committed and dedicated team to deliver premium service to our Dealer network. In this role you report directly to the Manager of Global Field Services. Residing in France and having a professional level of French and English is required.

Requirements

Superior studies on automotive / motorcycle: Mechanical / Electrical with at least 5 years of relevant experience in fieldwork.
Native French, Proficient in English.
Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Atlassian platforms.
Experienced user of industrial-standard electronic test devices, instruments and tools.
Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with a computer including handling diagnostic tools and configuring systems with new software.
Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills - verbal and written in English is required.
Practical and hands-on.
Must be customer-focused and service-oriented.
Strong technical and electrical skills.
Basic mechanical and motorcycle repair skills are necessary.
A wide degree of creativity, stress tolerance and latitude is expected.
Demonstrate good judgment in solving problems as well as identifying problems in advance and proposing solutions.
Independent, flexible, assured and customer-oriented attitude.
Ability to carry responsibility and withstand pressure.
Willingness to travel to EU regions.

Nice To Haves

Other languages are a plus.
Certified to work on high-voltage systems is a plus.
In-depth understanding of motorcycles, automobiles or electric vehicles are highly beneficial.
Knowledge of relevant applications such as SAP, Salesforce and Atlassian is preferred.
Passion for motorcycles and/or affinity with Electric Vehicles are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Provide field service support, troubleshooting and diagnostic guidance in a pleasant, professional, courteous and timely manner to adequately resolve dealers’ issues.
Conduct onsite repairs and support maintenance activities.
Provide technical training to the dealer network and deliver your feedback to further improve technical training material.
Write service reports and record details of interactions with partners in our Salesforce CRM system and your weekly report.
Communicate and coordinate via various platforms with our mechanics, technicians and engineers to ensure escalated issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Proactively communicate with colleagues in the office and in the field to ensure service standards are met and dealer satisfaction is maintained.
Conduct remote technical support, troubleshooting and diagnostic support via various web-based platforms.
Help improve diagnostic tools and capabilities by providing detailed feedback from the field.
Accurately document diagnostic procedures and repair actions for difficult or exceptional fault cases.
Identify and document quality issues with a high level of quality awareness.
Where necessary, draft, translate and review service bulletins or service instructions.
Partner Portal guidance and onsite support with warranty administration processes.
