About The Position
In this role, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals, going to hospitals to perform software upgrades for automated medication dispensing devices. Requirements
- Ability to travel extensively for field-based service assignments.
- 1+ year of technical experience required.
- Must maintain personal parts inventory, sourcing from approved vendors.
- Candidates must have authorization to work in the US without the need for sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree in biomedical, IT, electronics, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years in a field technician role preferred.
- Experience in IT support, electronics, biomedical engineering, or pharmacy technology is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, configuration, and updates for medical devices, software, and networking systems.
- Conduct routine checks to verify proper functionality after setup.
- Troubleshoot device and network issues, resolving technical problems independently or escalating complex cases.
- Follow calibration protocols for servicing equipment.
- Educate healthcare staff on device utilization and software functionality.
- Maintain compliance with hospital vendor credentialing requirements.
- Maintain personal parts inventory, sourcing from approved vendors.
