About The Position

This role involves traveling to customer sites to perform preventive maintenance and emergency service on mechanical equipment. The technician will also be responsible for new machine installation, commissioning, and customer training. A key aspect of the job is ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service, prompt execution, and effective communication. The technician must act professionally and courteously to represent the company positively in the market. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years working with mechanical equipment
  • Extensive Travel, up to 75%
  • Ability to work up to 12 hours at times
  • Availability for occasional weekend work
  • Understanding of Hand Tools and mechanical techniques
  • Computer Literate
  • Some technical writing skills
  • Ability to read Schematics, Diagrams and Technical manuals
  • Must be able to function well, in an unsupervised position
  • Must have a valid driver license
  • Must be able to discuss technically complex issues with non-technical people
  • Good organizational skills, particularly on site, are critical
  • A minimum of a High School education is required
