About The Position

TEREX is offering an exciting opportunity for an Early Talent Field Service Technician to join our service team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in engineering and heavy machinery who is keen to develop hands‑on technical skills through a structured training and real‑world experience. The successful candidate will support the commissioning, servicing, and repair of TEREX equipment while working alongside experienced Field Service Technicians, with a clear pathway to progress into a full Filed Service role.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Outlook and Word
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Be able to obtain a valid passport for overseas travel
  • Good general mechanical and electrical maintenance skills
  • Strong interest in engineering, machinery, or technical systems
  • Willingness to learn in a hands‑on, practical environment
  • Flexible approach and willingness to travel internationally
  • Good communication skills and professional attitude

  • Associate/Technical degree
  • Any hands‑on experience with machinery, vehicles, or servicing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required, both in-person and over the phone
  • Ability to work independently and use available resources to complete tasks with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Support commissioning, servicing, and repair of TEREX machines in North America.
  • Assist with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fault‑finding
  • Carry out inspections, pre‑delivery checks, and basic diagnostics
  • Complete service reports and technical documentation
  • Follow TEREX safety, quality, and service procedures
  • Attend and successfully complete all required training courses.
  • Represent TEREX professionally when working with customers and dealers
  • Support the Help Desk Technician, as required
  • Assist with the display and simulation of equipment and technical presentation
  • Assist with the development and presentation of training materials
