Part-Time Field Service Technician (Allentown, PA)
About The Position
Onesource Amusement, LLC is hiring a part-time Field Service Technician based in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The technician diagnoses and repairs amusement and gaming equipment at customer locations, completes service calls independently, documents work clearly, and installs equipment locally and on occasional out-of-state trips. The role involves troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems, maintaining tools, parts, and a service vehicle, and representing the company professionally at customer locations. Candidates should be comfortable using a multimeter to test voltage and continuity and diagnosing electrical issues. The role requires moving heavy equipment with assistance from tools such as a dolly or pallet jack, along with standing, bending, and kneeling throughout the day. The pay range is $20–$26 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Comfortable troubleshooting issues and working independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, accountable, and professional.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation to use for routes.
- Comfortable using a multimeter (voltmeter) to test voltage and continuity and diagnose electrical issues.
- Ability to troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical problems in the field.
- Ability to lift and move 100+ lbs using equipment such as a dolly or pallet jack.
- Comfortable standing, bending, kneeling, and working on your feet throughout the day.
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of hands-on mechanical or electrical experience (preferred).
