About The Position

Servpro provides on-site fire and water damage cleanup and restoration. Field Service Technicians perform hands-on restoration work and are expected to be organized, calm, friendly, and willing to go the extra mile. The New Lenox, Illinois SERVPRO team provides training. The position offers supervisor interaction, room for growth, weekly appreciation breakfasts, and the opportunity to apply prior work experience while helping customers.

Core hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Extra hours are needed as required, and some positions require an additional after-hours emergency service rotation. Starting pay is $18–$25 per hour based on experience, with overtime hours available.

Responsibilities

• Extract water to accelerate the drying process.
• Place drying equipment in specialized locations.
• Perform interior demolition.
• Provide general labor during various stages of restoration.
• Clean smoke damage.
• Perform detailed cleaning of customer contents and rooms.
• Inventory and pack contents.
• Use mobile devices for content tracking.
