About The Position

Our Field Service Operations team is responsible for providing technical support to drive the success of our customers at Aristocrat Gaming. As Senior Field Service Technician, you will be part of a team with employees across the United States and Canada. The Senior Field Service Technician provides advanced technical support and guidance in field operations. They handle complex troubleshooting, repairs, and installations, mentor junior technicians, and contribute to efficiency improvements. This role requires a deep understanding of Aristocrat gaming products and a proactive approach to optimizing service quality and customer satisfaction. You will complete a robust, hands-on, and virtual training program throughout your first 6 months .

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Field Service Technician or equivalent technical role.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and mentorship skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred associate degree or equivalent work experience in electronics, mechanical engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience as a slot technician, field service of technical products, or other diagnostic work.
  • Experience working in the field, being on call, and traveling for work.
  • Experience with electronics, mechanics, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, conversions, installations, and maintenance of gaming machines, signs, and controllers.
  • Resolve complex issues independently or in collaboration with technical support.
  • Mentor and provide on-the-job training to junior Field Service Technicians.
  • Conduct and document Pre-Site Surveys, ensuring thorough planning for upcoming service activities.
  • Analyze and report recurring service challenges and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring proper stock for field operations.
  • Collaborate closely with customers to deliver tailored technical solutions and uphold Aristocrat’s customer service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and company protocols in all field activities.
