About The Position

This role provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment and performs scheduled maintenance repairs. The technician will also provide technical support to customers, including troubleshooting and problem resolution, and perform mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines. Additionally, the role involves training customers’ operators and maintenance personnel and complying with OSHA Safety and Health rules. The position is based in the United States and does not offer visa or work sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship. Requirements

  • 5+ years hands-on technical experience on electro-mechanical systems as applied to state-of-the-art industrial machinery.
  • Strong electrical aptitude, including motors, AC & servo drives, electrical circuitry, PLC and PC based control systems.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude including power transmission systems, pneumatics and hydraulics.
  • Excellent communications skills - must be proficient in English, have strong listening skills and enjoy working with people.
  • Able to multi-task and work under extreme pressure
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Excellent computer literacy including knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
  • Able to travel extensively (up to 90%) including weekends and on short notice.
  • Some travel may be for extended periods (up to 3 weeks).

  • Slicing and packaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities
