Field Service Technician - Slicing / Packaging Equipment
About The Position

Our global organization offers the most extensive range of advanced solutions on the market today, from single machines to complete turnkey production lines including software-based productivity and line management solutions. This role provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment. The technician will also provide technical support to customers including troubleshooting and problem resolution, perform mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines, and provide training of customers’ operators and maintenance personnel. The role requires compliance with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
Requirements
- 5+ years hands-on technical experience on electro-mechanical systems as applied to state-of-the-art industrial machinery.
- Strong electrical aptitude, including motors, AC & servo drives, electrical circuitry, PLC and PC based control systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude including power transmission systems, pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Excellent communications skills - must be proficient in English, have strong listening skills and enjoy working with people.
- Able to multi-task and work under extreme pressure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Excellent computer literacy including knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.

- Slicing and packaging experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment.
- Provides technical support to customers including troubleshooting and problem resolution.
