About The Position

Panhandle Oilfield Services is seeking motivated, dependable individuals to join our team as Field Service Technicians. This role is primarily responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of oilfield pumping units. This is a field-based position (approximately 90%), requiring work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments. Candidates should be comfortable working with equipment, tools, and crews in active oilfield settings.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred
Valid Driver’s License required; CDL preferred
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Must have reliable phone access and be available for on-call rotation
Ability to work at heights
Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and manual labor
Lift and carry up to 40 lbs regularly
Work extended hours standing or sitting in shop and field environments
Tolerate extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, etc.)

Nice To Haves

Experience in pumping unit service, oilfield repair, or related field work

Responsibilities

Perform troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and minor repairs on pumping units
Assist crane operators and rig crews with installation and setup of pumping units
Safely operate company vehicles, including commercial trucks
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any issues
Accurately complete job tickets, time sheets, equipment records, and driving logs
Follow all safety procedures and actively participate in job safety analysis (JSA)
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Be available for on-call work and respond to customer needs as required
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
