Requirements

  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, and electronic systems.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
  • Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and courteously with customers.
  • Ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical individuals.
  • Problem-solving skills to analyze issues promptly and implement solutions.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in work completion.
  • Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Industry awareness to stay updated on advancements and product availability.
  • Ability to safely operate various tools and equipment.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor, lift heavy equipment, and work in diverse environments.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 years of equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a related field such as maintenance, repair, or installation.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and diagnosing electro-mechanical problems with equipment, and performing installations and repairs.
  • Interacting directly with customers to understand concerns, recommend actions, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintaining a professional demeanor and representing the company positively.
  • Executing repairs efficiently and effectively.
  • Performing scheduled maintenance tasks on equipment for contracted customers and proactively addressing necessary repairs.
  • Keeping track of parts and supplies inventory in the service van.
  • Ensuring the service van is properly maintained and stocked.
  • Adhering to customer safety and housekeeping guidelines.
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support company operations.
