Requirements

  • HS Diploma required; Associates/technical degree preferred, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Mechanical aptitude is a must - experience with preventative maintenance and technical diagnostics/repair.
  • 2+ years of field service experience and/or customer-facing roles preferred.
  • This position requires occasional rental of vehicles or booking of hotel rooms for business travel. A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to rent a car and/ or hotel rooms under applicable state law are required.
  • This position requires daily travel to customer sites, typically within a 2-hour radius of the home office.
  • On average, 50% of weekly travel will include overnight stays.
  • Occasional travel to other states within the region is expected, with trips lasting up to one week at a time.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of instrumentation using established company standard work.
  • Promotes a positive customer experience and serves as on-site customer contact for technical and service-related problems.
  • Work in a wide variety of municipal and industrial settings, including but not limited to drinking water & wastewater treatment facilities, refineries, chemical manufacturing plants, food & beverage processing facilities, etc....Some applications may involve instrument servicing in NEC hazardous locations (Class I Division 2).
  • Submits prompt, accurate service reports that affect billing, inventory, instrument history, and instrument failure.
  • Follows safe work practices according to company policy.
  • Executes administrative activities in support of service visits.
  • Daily travel to customer sites. This role will be based in the West Palm Beach, FL area and supports our customers throughout the territory.
  • Expect a minimum of 50% overnight travel. Company-paid travel, accommodations, and meals are provided for overnight stays. You can expect to have 1 or 2 overnight stays per week.
