About The Position

Goetze Dental is seeking a mechanically talented Field Service Technician to join their Springfield service team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining dental equipment across a wide territory in southern Missouri and northern Arkansas. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, a good work ethic, and familiarity with the Ozarks region. While no dental experience is required, candidates with backgrounds in mechanical, trade, or technical fields are encouraged to apply. Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of mechanical, trade, or technical experience
  • Comfortable around technology and willing to learn new systems
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Mechanically talented
  • Work ethic
  • Familiarity with southern Missouri and northern Arkansas

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in agricultural, poultry, or livestock equipment service and repair
  • Food processing or agricultural facility maintenance
  • HVAC, plumbing, or electrical trades
  • Biomedical or medical equipment repair
  • Resort, hospitality, or attractions maintenance (including the Branson area)
  • Manufacturing maintenance or industrial equipment
  • Field IT support, AV installation, or electronics repair
  • General field service or equipment repair of any kind
  • Comfortable around technology and willing to learn new systems

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site installation, repair, and maintenance of dental equipment professionally and courteously
  • Diagnose equipment issues and determine the parts and tools needed to complete repairs
  • Train dental office staff on proper equipment use and care
  • Serve as on-site support for our remote IT technicians when needed
  • Maintain an organized, well-stocked service van
  • Partner with your dispatcher to schedule and route your daily calls efficiently
  • Complete work orders and job documentation accurately and on time
  • Attend manufacturer and company training to build your dental equipment expertise over time
