Field Service Technician – Dental Equipment

Goetze Dental is seeking a mechanically talented Field Service Technician to join their Des Moines service team. Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of mechanical, trade, or technical experience
- Comfortable around technology and willing to learn new systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Mechanical aptitude and work ethic
Nice To Haves
- Experience in agricultural and farm equipment service and repair (e.g., John Deere, CNH, Kubota, dealership techs)
- Experience in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical trades
- Experience in biomedical or medical equipment repair
- Experience in manufacturing maintenance or industrial equipment
- Experience in field IT support, AV installation, or electronics repair
- Experience in general field service or equipment repair of any kind
- Comfortable around technology and willing to learn
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installation, repair, and maintenance of dental equipment professionally and courteously
- Diagnose equipment issues and determine the parts and tools needed to complete repairs
- Train dental office staff on proper equipment use and care
- Serve as on-site support for our remote IT technicians when needed
- Maintain an organized, well-stocked service van
- Partner with your dispatcher to schedule and route your daily calls efficiently
- Complete work orders and job documentation accurately and on time
- Attend manufacturer and company training to build your dental equipment expertise over time
