About The Position

Advance Plumbing & Septic of Birmingham is seeking a CDL Class A Field Service Technician to perform septic tank pump-outs, grease pumping, equipment delivery, and installation support in Hueytown, Alabama, in the Birmingham area. This is a hands-on physical field role: driving is only part of the work, and technicians regularly perform manual labor, work directly with septic systems, and interact with residential and commercial customers. The position may be filled at FST I, FST II, or FST III depending on demonstrated experience; leveling is determined through an interview and skills validation to match the technician’s capabilities to the complexity of assigned work. Routes are local and employees are home daily. Work is approximately 40% driving and 60% physical or manual labor. Occasional evening work may be required for specific customers, and it is limited and scheduled.
