About The Position

The Field Service Technician – Electrical supports field service operations by assisting with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment at customer sites. This entry-level role offers hands-on learning under the guidance of experienced technicians, with an emphasis on safety, accuracy, and customer service. The position is project-site based and involves travel to customer sites and work in varied field environments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or field service, or equivalent vocational training.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, motors, controls, power distribution, or automation.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics with guidance.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites.
• Physical capability to work in industrial, manufacturing, and outdoor environments.

Nice To Haves

• Technical training or certification in Electrical Technology.
• OSHA or other safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and basic repair of electrical and control systems under supervision.
• Help set up tools, materials, and work areas at job sites.
• Document work performed and assist in completing service reports and work orders.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in proper working condition.
• Follow safety protocols and comply with electrical codes and company policies.
• Provide on-call or emergency support as directed.
• Travel to customer sites as needed and assist in a variety of field-based environments.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operational objectives.
