About The Position

This role is for individuals seeking a hands-on position in Field Services. As a Field Service Specialist in the Paper Machine Wet End group, you will be part of the NA Services team. Your primary responsibility will be to support customer operations by ensuring their equipment runs at optimum levels, utilizing cutting-edge technology and tools. You will work with large-scale papermaking equipment at customer facilities across North America, with potential for overseas travel for targeted projects, machine start-ups, or equipment testing. Daily tasks may include traveling to customer sites for hands-on support, providing remote troubleshooting assistance from offices, or supporting colleagues while preparing for your own service calls. The ultimate goal is to provide the highest level of commitment and service to enhance customer production and performance.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical background.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
• Good communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Strong PC skills.
• Ability to travel approximately 50-80% of the time, including overnight travel as needed.

• Hydraulic & pneumatic background.
• Previous work in the paper industry.
