Purpose The Field Services Specialist is a beginner-level role on our installation team designed for individuals with a high technical aptitude who are eager to learn and grow within the field services industry. In this role, you will be trained to ensure our IoT platform remains fully operational, providing onsite support and fostering confidence among end users and administrators. This role is a stepping stone toward the Field Services Engineer position. This person will represent the company on site. Given the environment, a high level of professionalism, appropriate conduct, and adherence to school safety protocols is mandatory. This role primarily services K-12 school sites and will require frequent interaction within a school environment, including around students, faculty, and school administrators.

Requirements

  • Strong technical aptitude and a desire to learn new technologies.
  • Demonstrated maturity and judgment in a sensitive environment, particularly when working around children.
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and fingerprinting is required prior to employment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and apply standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the maintenance and deployment of the CENTEGIX Safety Platform.
  • Engage Operations, IT, and Facilities leaders at customer sites to resolve minor IoT platform issues as part of training and development.
  • Perform remote installer and customer support work when not in the field to ensure ongoing platform reliability.
  • Maintain professional conduct and strictly adhere to all business and/or school district policies and safety standards while on site.
  • Assist with inventory management, ensuring company assets are recovered from installers and returned in a timely manner.
  • Utilize internal CENTEGIX systems and the Installer Application to manage customer-related activities and update platform statuses under supervision.
  • Support training opportunities with customers to drive usage and adoption of CENTEGIX platforms and services.
  • Engage administrators, site leaders, and end users to generate feedback on the platform for marketing and product development teams.
