About The Position

Firestorm is looking for a Field Service Representative (FSR), xCell to be the front-line field technician supporting customer-fielded xCell expeditionary advanced manufacturing systems. You will deploy independently or in pairs to customer sites, deliver and assist on New Equipment Training (NET) events, and serve as the first point of human contact for customer-surfaced technical issues. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role; you will be the face of Firestorm to the operators who decide whether to keep flying us.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or Trade School Certificate in Engineering or equivalent discipline. In lieu of degree/certificate a High School diploma/GED or military service with 8+ years of relevant experience
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to ITAR regulations & the ability to maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance
  • Active Secret clearance at hire required.
  • 3+ years field service experience on industrial, additive manufacturing, or military hardware platforms.
  • HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) certification, required to obtain within first 90 days post-hire.
  • Current U.S. passport at hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior U.S. military service with a maintenance MOS or equivalent technical specialty.
  • Hiring Our Heroes (HOH) Corporate Fellowship Program alumnus or other military-transition program participant.
  • Top Secret eligibility.
  • Prior employment at additive manufacturing OEM or defense-industry field service organization.
  • Familiarity with ITAR shipping documentation and HAZMAT protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy to customer sites for installations, sustainment visits, exercises, NET events, and customer-impacting recovery operations.
  • Deliver NET sessions on xCell systems as instructor or assistant instructor depending on cohort size.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair xCell systems in the field within the Tier 1 / Tier 2 playbook; escalate to Senior FSR / Tech Lead when scope exceeds playbook.
  • Log every field-surfaced event in the Voice of Customer (VOC) Field Capture Form within 24 hours per the published SLA.
  • Maintain the assigned field tool kit, parts inventory, and field-deployable test fixture.
  • Contribute to xCell sustainment documentation (IETM updates, lessons-learned files, troubleshooting playbooks) under the Senior FSR / Tech Lead.
  • Perform other duties as needed
