About The Position

The Field Services Project Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and execution of field service projects, including rotating equipment overhaul, repair, maintenance, and high-velocity oil flushing and system cleanliness services. Reporting to the Field Services Manager, this role assists with day-to-day project coordination, logistics, documentation, and communication to help ensure work is executed safely, on schedule, and in alignment with quality requirements. This role plays an integral part in pre-job readiness, ongoing project execution, and post-scope service, including planning and coordination of specialized services such as oil flushing. Requirements

  • Be responsible for pre scope, during execution and post project scope activities as it applies to the overhaul, maintenance and repair of critical rotating equipment.
  • Be responsible for knowledge of assigned rotating equipment including maintenance, repair/refurbishment and installation.
  • Act as the single point of contact to the customer for timely and satisfactory resolutions for all concerns.
  • Provide the client with operational/technical/business support in order to achieve desired results.
  • Produce supporting documentation and complete all necessary post scope reporting.
  • Manage diverse clients while providing them with custom tailored solutions and delivering on Blackstone’s reputation as a leading service provider.
  • Complete on site client meetings and temporary deployments on an as needed basis.
  • Results oriented with the ability to effectively manage simultaneous multiple priorities and timelines.
  • Demonstrated conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills, with the proven ability to juggle and reprioritize based on business demands and priorities.
  • Strong communication skills, confident interacting with key contacts in verbal, written and electronic form.

Responsibilities

  • Mobilize and manage skilled execution teams, ensuring workforce competency for overhaul of applicable machinery.
  • Mobilize crews with speed and efficiency, ensuring proper job execution readiness (tooling + consumables specific to the work scope), possession of administrative resources (computer, internet hubs, timesheet/LEM requirements, Quality documentation, HSE documentation, scope specific resources/drawings/work packages), and completion of internal processes (job filing, equipment log, rate sheets, billing requirements).
  • Assign access, training, and certification requirements while managing their completion.
  • Manage both contractor and employee lodging and transportation.
  • Plan and coordinate oil flushing scopes within broader field service projects, ensuring required equipment, materials, and personnel are aligned ahead of execution.
  • Work with shop and field teams to schedule, prepare, and mobilize flushing equipment, including readiness checks and job-specific requirements.
  • Support field execution of oil flushing activities by coordinating logistics, documentation, and communication between crews, management, and clients.
  • Develop operational procedures and improve on existing practices to provide clients with the highest level of responsiveness and vendor confidence.
  • Develop project plans and schedules based solely on project scope and with minimum direction and input.
  • Provide technical service to clients of Blackstone Industrial Services.
  • Assist the Field Service Manager with internal reporting, future resource loading/planning, ROI (return on investment) capital projects, and both internal stakeholder and external client presentations/demonstrations.
  • Assist the Field Service Manager with documentation completion and statistic collection.
  • Generate client specific FSR’s (Field Service Reports) and ensure the completion and sign off of quality documentation.
  • Participate in client meetings (on an as needed basis).
