Manage the installation of equipment at various locations in order to ensure that project timelines are met. This role involves traveling at least 75% of the time to customer sites throughout the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. The Field Service Installation Engineer acts as the primary communication link between project engineers and plant management, coordinates problem resolution with engineering, customer service, and other personnel to expedite installation, and provides a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure effective service. The role also involves analyzing reports of technical problems to identify trends and recommend modifications, developing and enforcing site-specific safety plans, conducting safety inspections and audits, and recommending cost-cutting measures.
