Manage the installation of equipment at various locations in order to ensure that project timelines are met. This role involves installing new or modified equipment at customer's facilities to ensure full functionality according to specifications. The Field Service Installation Engineer will travel at least 75% of the time to customer sites throughout the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. This position acts as the primary communication link between project engineers and plant management, coordinating problem resolution with engineering, customer service, and other personnel to expedite installation. The role also involves analyzing reports of technical problems to identify trends affecting future design, production, service, and maintenance processes, and recommending modifications. Additionally, the engineer provides a communication link between the customer and the company to ensure effective service, develops and enforces site-specific safety plans, conducts daily safety inspections and weekly safety audits, and recommends cost-cutting measures.
