Service Engineer - Lothian Region

Roche covers territories throughout the UK, Scotland, Ireland and Wales England. As a service engineer with experience in diagnosing and repairing electro-mechanical, fluidic, and electronic systems. Applicants with a background in biomedical engineering, industrial engineering, automation, or aerospace (to name a few) are encouraged to apply. You will be assigned to the trust within the NHS Lothian health board. If you have a strong foundation in troubleshooting at the component level and have progressed to systems-level expertise, we want to hear from you. In this important position within the Technical Services group, you will provide technical support for a variety of medical equipment. With exciting product launches and significant R&D investment in our portfolio, you will have the chance to support the growth of key business accounts across your territory and the UK. You will report to a Regional Technical Manager and be responsible for preventative, corrective, modification, installation, and out-of-hours support for specified products ranging from large to medium-sized equipment.
Requirements
- Experience in diagnosing and repairing electro-mechanical, fluidic, and electronic systems.
- Strong foundation in troubleshooting at the component level and systems-level expertise.
- Engineering or electrical qualification.
- Previous field service experience with high-value capital equipment.
- Ability to build productive customer relationships in a complex environment.
Nice To Haves
- Background in biomedical engineering, industrial engineering, automation, or aerospace.
- May be required to travel throughout the UK on occasion.
