About The Position

As a member of the Westinghouse AOMS Field Engineering Leadership Development Program (FELP), you will be rapidly exposed to various product lines and service offerings within the AOMS portfolio, with growing responsibility. You will rotate through several AOMS business segments, to support our growing business while developing leadership skills and identifying future career interests. We have 6 positions available for our next cohort in July, 2026. All positions will be based out of our Waltz Mill facility in Madison, PA. This particular position is within the Specialty Welding & Machining (SW&M) space and will report to the Nuclear Field Services Resource Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution (all disciplines accepted)
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% and relocate based on job rotations
  • Must meet all requirements to obtain unescorted access at domestic and international commercial nuclear plants
  • Valid driver's license with REAL ID or valid passport
  • Eagerness to learn, develop, and apply leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Learn and lead project work through structured business rotations, delivering value across departments and locations through planning, communication, and teamwork
  • Develop an understanding of business strategy, departmental goals, and alignment with business direction
  • Provide basic engineering field service and project support in both field and service center environments
  • Perform field engineering tasks within established scope, budget, and schedule requirements
  • Interface with customers, outage managers, business leaders, and project managers
  • Identify improvement opportunities and apply data analysis skills
  • Develop leadership skills through training, hands-on experience, and communication with technical leads and management
  • Travel or relocate for job rotations, meetings, training, and future opportunities
  • Support two to three planned nuclear outages per year involving approximately 25 days of travel per outage
  • Create technical documentation including procedures, work instructions, drawings, and service plans
  • Help develop specialty field tooling and processes
