Field Service Engineer - San Antonio, TX
About The Position
Videojet Technologies, part of Veralto, provides product identification technologies, including in-line printing, coding, and marking products, consumables, and software for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and industrial markets. The Field Service Engineer provides front-line technical service and support to customers, delivering a consistently high level of customer satisfaction. This is a home-based role supporting customers in the assigned territory, with regional travel. Most work is completed during the day, travel is planned in advance, and occasional overnight travel is not routine. The position reports to the Regional Service Manager.
Requirements
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory, including occasional overnight travel.
- Up to two years of technical, mechanical, electrical, or field service experience.
- Basic computer and technical proficiency, including email, mobile applications, and Microsoft Word.
- Ability to comply with customer safety requirements, PPE standards, and site access policies.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate a company vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Videojet coding and marking equipment at customer facilities.
- Travel throughout the assigned territory to support manufacturing customers.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues and deliver effective, timely solutions.
- Build trusted customer relationships by acting as a technical advisor and problem solver.
- Support business growth by identifying opportunities to promote service agreements and newer technology solutions.
