About The Position

The Field Service Engineer will deliver exceptional customer service and technical problem resolution at client sites. This role involves maintaining equipment, proactively resolving potential issues to maximize uptime, and training customers on the operation and maintenance of pharmacy automation systems. The engineer will respond to service requests within SLA requirements, collaborate with service teams to resolve complex technical issues, and assist with new automation installations. Responsibilities also include documenting issues and resolutions in Salesforce Field Service Lightning, providing product feedback for continuous improvement, and working independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Robotics, or Biomedical Engineering Technology preferred, plus 3-5 years field service experience (or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience)
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Within commutable distance of San Jose CA
  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of computer networking, router/switch configuration, and file management
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools for complex equipment service
  • Experience with digital multi-meters and electrical testing equipment
  • Do you have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • This requires health certification with current vaccinations, are you able to commit to updating vaccinations if necessary
