Requirements

• Undergraduate technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years experience in field service, installation, maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting of capital equipment, preferably in electronics manufacturing, semiconductor, or industrial automation
• Several years of experience in electrical engineering, as well as knowledge of precision engineering and automation
• Programming skills in PLC (ideally Beckhoff)
• Ideally, knowledge of lasers and optics
• Willingness to travel without restriction (worldwide)
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• High level of teamwork, commitment, and flexibility
• Strong communication skills and assertiveness
• At least a good command of English is required

Responsibilities

• Installation, service, and maintenance of our laser processing systems at our customers’ sites in Germany and abroad
• Commissioning of laser processing systems on-site at our customers’ locations
• Service tasks in the areas of electrical systems, lasers and optics, mechanics, NC control, image processing, and process control
• Telephone support and consultation for our customers regarding technical issues
• Instruction and training for our customers
