Arch Solutions delivers uptime optimization service agreements and has a reputation for providing in-depth troubleshooting, rapid resolution, and preventive maintenance across two distinct business divisions: Arch Medical and Arch Technology. The Arch Technology division excels in infrastructure network support, providing independent uptime optimization service agreements that extend the life of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) hardware. Our team of highly skilled and experienced engineers resolves over 75% of cases without needing Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) through our Technical Assistance Center (TAC). In a similar scope, Arch Medical division is dedicated to servicing a wide range of medical imaging equipment. This includes MRI machines, CT scanners, x-ray rooms, portable x-ray devices, CATH labs, PET CT rooms, and nuclear medicine rooms. We offer 24/7 comprehensive maintenance support, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum patient safety, which our clients rely on with confidence. Requirements

  • As a Jr Field Service Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering reliable, high-quality service to our customers while adding to the technical strength and professionalism of the broader engineering team.
  • This role combines hands-on technical execution with collaboration, cross-training, and disciplined documentation to ensure consistent service outcomes.
  • This role is designed to be first look and is in support of the senior FSE team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide world-class, hands-on support to imaging customers through accurate diagnosis, repair, maintenance, calibration, and preventative service of imaging equipment within the assigned region.
  • Engage with customers in a positive, professional, and solutions-oriented manner, building trust and confidence through clear communication and dependable follow-through.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of imaging modalities in accordance with manufacturer specifications, service standards, and contractual commitments.
  • Support and collaborate with fellow engineers in the field by sharing technical expertise, assisting with complex issues, and contributing to faster, higher-quality resolutions.
  • Travel between customer sites as needed, prioritizing locations and systems where service demand is highest to ensure timely coverage and uptime.
  • Accurately identify parts required for repairs and maintenance, support quoting activities, and communicate requirements clearly to enable timely sourcing and approval.
  • Manage the receipt, return, and tracking of parts and tools, ensuring proper handling, documentation, and cost awareness throughout the service process.
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and timely service documentation, including service reports, PM records, and system notes, to support continuity, compliance, and operational insight.
  • Perform all work in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, OEM guidelines, and company policies, with a consistent and sincere focus on safety for patients, customers, and team members.
