About The Position

Kenworth Truck Company is seeking a Data Analytics Intern to support business and manufacturing teams through data analysis, reporting, and process automation. The intern will help identify trends, develop data visualizations, automate data processes, and provide insights that drive business decisions while gaining hands-on experience with analytics and business intelligence tools. Internships are scheduled to begin in May or June 2027.

Requirements

Experience in data visualization and analysis.
Knowledge of R, Snowflake, SQL, and Python.
Proficiency using SQL code to develop complex queries.
Experience using Power BI and Tableau.
Background using low-code software for application development.
Analytical mind and business acumen.
Problem-solving aptitude.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Bachelor's degree in progress, focusing on Business, Supply Chain Management, or another related field.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Java or C++.
Junior or senior standing.

Responsibilities

Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes.
Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data.
Automate manual data pulls.
Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns.
Present information using data visualization techniques.
Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges.
Collaborate with manufacturing and business teams.
Perform other duties as assigned.
