About The Position
RESPEC seeks a Field Scientist to assist with environmental and solid waste projects throughout West Virginia, Ohio, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. The role involves field sampling and supporting engineering, geologic, hydrogeologic, and environmental investigations, as well as office-based geologic and engineering work such as data analysis and report preparation. The Field Scientist will develop technical knowledge through varied project experience across multiple industries and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in Environmental Science.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to perform fieldwork year-round, potentially for extended durations.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Nice To Haves
- Experience with CAD or ArcGIS.
