About The Position

Quincy Compressor is seeking a Field Sales Representative, Service to join their team. The role involves developing and strengthening customer and internal partner relationships by listening, creating value, and generating leads and opportunities to support business growth. The ideal candidate will be customer-oriented, capable of identifying the most suitable value proposition for clients, and will develop a strategic sales territory, new accounts, and opportunities. This role requires staying updated on market trends and seeking innovative solutions for evolving customer and market scenarios. The Field Sales Representative will report to the Regional Sales Manager.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in the service business, prospecting, and conducting a systematic sales process.
  • Experience with compressed air systems or similar.
  • Bachelor’s degree in management, business, administration, marketing, engineering, or other technical specialization. Relevant related experience will be considered.
  • Customer-oriented, able to understand customer needs and prioritize them accordingly.
  • Willingness to act while coping with varied workloads.
  • Well-versed with a computer, CRMs, and database management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with customers and internal partners.
  • Create and follow up on leads and opportunities that support business growth.
  • Develop a strategic sales territory, new accounts, opportunities, and call planning.
  • Follow market trends and look for innovative solutions for changing customer and market scenarios.
  • Attend to incoming customer requests and develop them into cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
  • Follow up, qualify, and respond to leads from different sources.
  • Collaborate with other areas, sales teams, and departments to develop opportunities and strategies to retain or recover lost customers.
  • Conduct prospecting with defined target accounts, set up future meetings, and develop sales opportunities.
  • Conduct the necessary sales process to create value for the customer and each stakeholder.
  • Identify and further develop contacts within each account.
  • Prepare quotes for Fixed Price Services, Service Plans, and other services.
  • Use business tools such as Salesforce.com, CPQ (iQ2), ERP (BPCS), among others, to gather necessary customer information for quoting, follow-up, and to record activities.
  • Process orders received, maintaining the integrity of the post-sales process by acquiring the necessary PO, documentation, approvals, and contract review process.
  • Help with upkeep of installed base information and customer records in both ERP (BPCS) and CRM systems.
  • Provide feedback to sales and marketing teams on market activity, competition, and other relevant information.
  • Conduct regular reviews with the respective sales manager and CTS team.
  • Contribute to team efforts, meetings, and discussions.
