About The Position

Saltz is a digital marketplace connecting chefs directly with producers, aiming to eliminate distributors and hidden costs in the culinary world. We empower chefs to discover and source a wide variety of fresh ingredients with transparency, while unlocking a global market for producers. Having recently secured €20M in Series A funding, we are expanding rapidly with the vision to become the new global standard for food sourcing. We are looking for a Field Sales Executive to drive our expansion in Frankfurt.

Requirements

  • Understanding of the fast-paced world of gastronomy (e.g., from running a kitchen, managing a bar, or working as a concierge).
  • Willingness to be out in the field, visiting restaurants and kitchens.
  • Ability to build face-to-face relationships with chefs and managers.
  • Very good oral and written German and English skills.
  • Comfortable leading conversations, listening, solving problems, and closing deals.

  • Previous sales internships or part-time customer roles.
  • Fluency in other languages in addition to German or English.

Responsibilities

  • Find and contact new venues in the city.
  • Meet chefs and managers to introduce the Saltz.App.
  • Support customer orders.
  • Manage approximately 10-15 meetings per week.
  • Follow up with leads to ensure no one is left unsupported.
  • Plan weekly schedules and work towards hitting or exceeding targets.
  • Provide demonstrations of the Saltz application to chefs in their own environment.
  • Use CRM and other tools to track progress and collaborate with the team.
