About The Position

You'll combine hands-on service with sales savvy to make sure every customer is in-stock, on-schedule, and happy—and you'll help our business grow along the way.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to complete a successful DOT physical
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Clean, reliable driving history
  • Background in customer service preferred; foodservice and route delivery experience are pluses.
  • Mechanical inclination and comfort with company hardware/software.
  • Sharp listener who understands customer needs and communicates clearly.
  • Goal-focused, proactive, and decisive; uses sound business judgment.
  • Builds rapport easily; collaborates well with customers and teammates; aware of personal impact.
  • Works independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver, restock, and rotate coffee, tea, and related items; leave stations spotless and up to standard.
  • Perform at least one daily CQC (Cup Quality Check) and verify equipment is clean and functioning.
  • Follow the set route schedule to service every customer on time.
  • Manage invoices, on-hand inventory, and collections while on route.
  • Increase revenue per stop by closing distribution gaps, activating seasonal and LTO promotions, executing pricing actions, and merchandising to standard.
  • Escalate issues to the ASM (Area Sales Manager) quickly and ensure they are resolved.
  • Flag inefficiencies, dissatisfaction, or new opportunities to the ASM.
  • Consistently use the Farmer Brothers Way to Sell; make sales calls whenever time and opportunity allow.
  • Support the ASM with inventory cycle counts and customer follow-ups.
  • Help in the warehouse, assist with A/R collections, and handle customer service tasks as assigned.
  • Learn brewing equipment and perform basic adjustments or repairs.
