Join a team supporting electrical and mechanical construction activities on a large-scale data center project in Johnstown, OH. This role offers the opportunity to provide field safety oversight for mission-critical construction operations involving electrical installations, mechanical systems, equipment setting, material handling, and daily contractor activities. Requirements

  • OSHA 30 Construction Certification
  • 2+ years of construction safety experience
  • Current CPR/First Aid/AED Certification
  • Ability to maintain individual Worker's Compensation coverage
  • Working knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards
  • Working knowledge of Electrical Construction Safety
  • Working knowledge of Mechanical Construction Safety
  • Working knowledge of Data Center Construction Activities
  • Working knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
  • Working knowledge of Fall Protection & Elevated Work Activities
  • Working knowledge of Material Handling Operations
  • Working knowledge of Hazard Recognition & Risk Assessment
  • Working knowledge of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) Development
  • Working knowledge of Incident Investigation Fundamentals
  • Working knowledge of Contractor Safety Management
  • Working knowledge of Construction Safety Best Practices

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily safety observations and field audits
  • Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements
  • Support electrical and mechanical construction operations
  • Assist with hazard recognition and risk mitigation efforts
  • Participate in site inspections and safety walks
  • Support incident investigations and corrective action implementation
  • Review work areas for compliance with project safety standards
  • Partner with field supervision and craft personnel to promote safe work practices
  • Maintain safety documentation and field reports
  • Promote a positive safety culture throughout the project

Benefits

  • 1.4x Base Rate After 40 Hours (Overtime)
  • $130/Day Worked (Per Diem)
  • $150/month (Completion Bonus)
