About The Position

The Field Safety Representative will serve as the mechanical contractor’s sole on-site safety representative for an active data center construction project in New Albany, Ohio. This is a field-focused role requiring independent, proactive oversight and a consistent visible presence in active work areas. The representative will support safety activities related to the mechanical construction scope, help maintain compliance with OSHA and project safety requirements, and communicate effectively with supervisors, subcontractors, craft personnel, and project leadership. The assignment is expected to last 8 or more weeks and start as soon as possible.

Requirements

OSHA 30 certification.
At least 2 years of construction safety experience.
Basic construction safety knowledge.
Ability to work approximately 40–50 hours per week.
Reliable transportation to and from the project site.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work independently and proactively.
Working knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards, general construction safety, hazard recognition, field safety oversight, mechanical construction safety, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), contractor and subcontractor safety, construction risk identification, and safe work practices.
