Field Representative
About The Position
Rite Rug, a leading privately owned flooring company established in 1934, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Representative. This role is crucial for ensuring the complete inspection of flooring installations. The successful candidate will communicate with customers and project managers, inspect job sites before and after installation, determine the best installation or repair methods, conduct measurements, instruct installers, and ensure customer satisfaction. The position also involves responding to complaints or questions and picking up/delivering materials as needed. Rite Rug values its employees as part of a family.
Requirements
- Have earned a high school diploma or equivalent
- Exhibit commitment to safety in all work practices
- Be able to work independently and problem solve
- Be able to multi-task and prioritize the duties required
- Exhibit effective oral and written communication skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance
- Must have a reliable vehicle to travel to job sites
- Must be a good communicator
- Required to pass drug test and subject to random test

- Flooring Installation experience a plus!
Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers and project managers on a daily basis
- Inspect job site prior to installation to ensure everything is ready
- Inspect job site following installation to ensure proper and timely completion
- Determine best method of installation or repair, conduct measurements and instruct installers
- Ensure the job is completed to the customer’s satisfaction
- Respond to any complaints or questions regarding installations
- Pick up and deliver materials as necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned
