2027 Field Representative Development Program
About The Position
The Field Representative Development Program is a structured development experience designed to prepare early-career professionals for field-based roles supporting Caterpillar dealers and customers around the world. Participants gain a broad understanding of Caterpillar's products, services, customers, and dealer network while developing the business, technical, and relationship-building skills necessary for long-term success. This is a 1-3 year structured development program with a personalized development plan and coaching, hands-on learning experiences across multiple business areas, and exposure to Caterpillar products, services, and dealer operations. It prepares participants for a field-based representative career path.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum GPA of 2.8/4.0 (if applicable)
- Willingness to travel up to 50–75%
- Willingness to relocate domestically based on business needs
- Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future
- Resume includes a "Career Interests & Availability" section identifying preferred representative role(s) and available start date(s)
